Counseling

The Counseling program is an integral part of our students' school experience. The purpose of this site is to inform parents of the services available to assist students with their personal and academic needs.
 
 

Counseling Mission Statement

The mission of the Cliftondale Elementary School Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes student achievement in the areas of attendance, academics, social/emotional development, and in the area of college/career exploration.

Counseling Programs

Classroom Guidance Lessons

All students receive monthly classroom guidance lessons that focus on academic, social/emotional, or career development.

Individual/Small Group Counseling

The school counselor provides individual and small group counseling sessions. These sessions are tailored to the individual needs of the students in an effort to provide targeted support.

Programming

The school counselor coordinates various school programming throughout the school year to support the academic, career, and social/emotional development of the students.
