Dear Cliftondale Families,

Welcome to Cliftondale Elementary School! It is my pleasure to welcome you and your family to our exceptional school community. As principal, I am honored to serve alongside an outstanding team of educators who are committed to ensuring that every child experiences academic excellence, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to thrive.

At Cliftondale, we believe that every student can achieve at high levels when provided with engaging instruction, a nurturing environment, and strong partnerships between home and school. Our dedicated and highly qualified staff work collaboratively to create rigorous, student-centered learning experiences grounded in evidence-based instructional practices and informed by data to meet the unique needs of every learner.

Our commitment extends beyond academics. We strive to cultivate a positive school culture where every student feels safe, valued, respected, and empowered to reach their fullest potential. Through high expectations, character development, leadership opportunities, and enrichment experiences, we prepare our Mustangs to become confident learners and responsible citizens.

I am incredibly proud of what our school community has accomplished together over the past four years. Through the collective efforts of our students, families, teachers, and staff, Cliftondale has experienced continuous growth and earned several notable recognitions, including:

  • Steady year-over-year increases in our CCRPI performance, earning our most recent score of 82.1 (B).
  • An increase in our Georgia School Climate Star Rating to 4.5 out of 5 stars, reflecting our commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Recognition as a Georgia Distinguished PBIS School for exemplary implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports.
  • Recognition by Georgia State School Superintendent Richard Woods as a Literacy Leader for two consecutive school years, highlighting our dedication to ensuring every student becomes a successful reader. Welcome to Cliftondale Elementary School! Home of the Mustangs!
